No mere temple servant,
The Hand of Hera,
Strikes my back with Zeus's fire,
Twirls tiny lightning rods
That do no more than prickle,
Sending helicopter messages
By distraction,
Intuition,
Inward.
Benedictions wrapped in pain
Dance beneath my skin,
Myriad heavenly footsteps
Applying pressure.
